Stillness and movement, axis and arch, the eye of a storm
A point of departure, a point of return
Focus, relation, connection

Helica explores the cyclical nature of life, the constant flux of growth and decay, awakening, thriving and returning to rest.

A vibrant and colourful ensemble work created as part of Helga's Dance Artist in Residence Programme at Uillinn: West Cork Arts Centre.

Helica toured to New York for performances at Ecopoetic, Laban/Bartenieff Institute of Movement Studies 40th anniversary celebration, Washington Square Park, Manhattan (June, 2018) and was performed at Uillinn: West Cork Arts Centre, Skibbereen (October, 2018) and Firkin Crane, Home of Dance, Cork (November, 2018).
