Twisted

A site-specific youth dance film project lead by Helga Deasy as Uillinn Dance Artist in Residence in collaboration with film maker Colm Rooney. A group of young dancers and film makers collaborated over the course of two months, exploring shape, straight and curved lines in space, in the body and in movement and investigating their connection and relation to their surroundings and to one another. ​
​Twisted premiered at West Cork Arts Centre in May 2017 and was screened at Noise Moves and Laois Dance Platform in 2021.
